It all started in the fall of 1976, on a sad, cold, rainy night in Normandy, a though became an idea, the idea became prototype…..

the starting point of Morette: Citroen CX.

Fast car with a massive downfall, couldn't see at night, driving was a challenge

Major issue, taken it back in time, with non-existent motorways, no road illumination and loads of bordering threes, row after rows of threes…. . Going fast and night didn't work out, lots of people did end up in hospital or worse.

We applied the principle of 4 round lights. Even improving with the most powerful optics available at the time, using bigger outer lights (7inches). Amazing upgrade from the original optics

We took the light into the night.

After driving through Normandie, being stopped by other owners, and servicing the car at dealers, we had more and more requests and it ...........all started.  A passion was born.

We start selling to Citroen to equip the faster Range, CX, GS,.....

On requests from owners of Peugeot (205, 504,505), Ford (Escort 3), Mercedes (W124 and 201), Renault (Super 5), and others couldn’t do them all, we started designing and producing a wide range. We sold worldwide to all corners of the world.

Not only could you see but had the look!
